Perhaps you have seen a Texas license plate that says “X-CPA” and wonder who is that.  Well, that’s me as I get different reactions from puzzled question marks to humor.  It often helps me get away with unexpected speeding tickets, too!

A few people question my authenticity, “So, are you really a CPA?” but often, people chuckle and compliment it, “Oh my husband is going to need that when he retires” or take a snapshot of my license plate.  Really, X-CPA implies several meanings.  Obviously, my name is too long to fit into a seven letter limit and therefore “X” is appropriate.  Also, I’m a Generation X-CPA.  We are also a team of accounting superheros derived from Marvel Comics in X-MEN.
